FlightTrack 5 App Reviews

Missing functions

I use Flighttrack Pro since years. Having it installed on several devices a synchronisation function was very useful, mainly I synced with iCloud. Why the new version (which we have to pay for) does not support sync is absolutely not understandable. Therefor I can give only 2 stars and hope, that the sync - function is in the pipeline. The app itselfes is fresh designed and good for use. P.S. Since today I have a lot of http errors. Other tracking apps dont have this problem.

Best flight tracking app

I tried some of them but this one is awesome; the app and the fast and friendly service as well. A must have when you travel. Keep on developing this great piece of software.

Unknown error...????

Totally worthless app. Each request ends up with: unknown error...

App is great! Useful and stylish

I like it a lot and use it quite often. Everything works fine. There is only one small issue: Flights Berlin-Amsterdam are available in search somehow with KLM only, if to search by route. If to search easyJet company and flight number you find your flight with search. But by route search easyJet is not available. Please, check.

iPhone 6

Still no iPhone 6 support. Doesnt give you the gate of TXL flights even though its online for hours on the homepage.. Everyone whos to stupid to find Munich airport, add flights via flight number or use your brain and enter "MUC".

Plane travel is becoming a bliss with this app

I have been using FlightTrack since their first Version for iPhone came out and it has just gotten better and better. This app has become a daily routine for me when traveling. With this new version they have further improved the experience and now it is as easy as forwarding your travel confirmation to add a flight, all across your devices. The design is just stunning and looks great on the new iPad as well as on the iPhone. Especially when tracking flights from family members or grouping different flights to one destination (I.e. Thanksgiving) is made so interesting and great, so you never loose track when to pick somebody up or where to wait, gate wise. As an app developer it is becoming extremely hard to stay on top of all the new stuff Apple is putting out right before the holidays. So please understand that not every app is immediately resized for the bigger devices. More important is a great design and a function app which this one definitely is. So worth the money!

Developers lost direction

What is going on here? "Features" are added that no one asks for (and that only serve advertising/marketing) but others that people have been waiting for are simply denied: when will the flights added in previous versions are coming back and where is iPhone 6 support?

Very disappointed

Im very disappointed that you change the old flight tracker to a new one and I cant move my flights to the new one. No support of iCloud. Not worth to use this app anymore.

Flight track

Very bad APP

No iCloud Sync

iCloud Sync is missing. Most important feature if you have multiple devices!

Dont buy it

Such a needless app and so expensive you cant even change the weather scale from F/C wrong information about flights!!! so disappointed!!!

Missing TripIt Sync

The interface is beautiful and much nicer in iOS 7, however it has a glaring omission - Tripit integration! This feels like a retrograde. I hope it comes back in a future release.

What a mess

Do not, I repeat do not upgrade to this app. It is terrible, and does not have the functionality of FlightTrack Pro. Im really annoyed that I wasted my money on this app.

Flightrack 5 - Disappointed

Waited a day or so to give this app a chance. I fail to see what fuss was all about. I am going back to Flightrack Pro. App is cumbersome and incomplete. Reputations take a long time to build, but can disappear overnight. Thanks but no thanks for the email. Disappointed!

No tripit sync

Useless without tripit.

Ignore bad reviews

Ive been a long time user, and this is still the best flight tracking app for iPhone, bar none. The latest update is iOS 7 friendly, and as well executed as the previous versions. Im sure the developers will add and refine the feature set, but its a significant rewrite and a really well done one at that.

Great App!

Best app hands down for keeping track of your flights!

Better since the update, but still lots to improve

The first thing I noticed about this app is how slow it is. There is a significant amount of noticeable lag when switching between different sub-menus or swiping from side to side (on an iPhone 5). This has not been improved since release. However, I must admit that the push notifications for delayed flights work well and are very useful. I was buzzed by the FlightTrack app before being notified by the airline’s own app of an impending delay. Overall, I feel like too much of the screen real estate is wasted on showing the map, which not only hogs resources but simply isn’t that informative. I think this could/should be reworked.

Very good

Only thing thats proved to be a disappointment is that flights older than seven days cannot be added anymore.

Very average application

Had tried tracking two flights, the response is average and so is the information. The board at the airport was reading different time and the application a different time. All must be careful as this is not 100% reliable. For an app which is 5$s, there must be perfectness. Also the push updates are not perfect, the flight was 2.5 hours late and it have an update that the flight left on time from Heathrow. Improvements must be initiated.
