Not sure what all the hate in the reviews is all about. The UI has totally changed and I guess thats hard for established users. I think that most of the complaints are probably user error - the maps do pinch in and out, you can edit trips, the large plane icon is only there on the trip info page and not on the map page, etc. No longer syncs with TripIt only Expedia which is also made by the same developer so no surprise. There are some known bugs and limitations that are noted in the help pages.
I find it reliable, easy to use and having the most data of any flight tracker app. And it does look nice! Its one of the few if not only app that distinguishes between leaving or arriving at the gate and actual liftoff or landing.

The UI is stunning, the app is more user friendly than the previous version. I only miss the sync..
I tried some of them but this one is awesome; the app and the fast and friendly service as well. A must have when you travel. Keep on developing this great piece of software.
I like it a lot and use it quite often. Everything works fine. There is only one small issue:
Flights Berlin-Amsterdam are available in search somehow with KLM only, if to search by route. If to search easyJet company and flight number you find your flight with search. But by route search easyJet is not available. Please, check.
I have been using FlightTrack since their first Version for iPhone came out and it has just gotten better and better.
This app has become a daily routine for me when traveling.
With this new version they have further improved the experience and now it is as easy as forwarding your travel confirmation to add a flight, all across your devices. The design is just stunning and looks great on the new iPad as well as on the iPhone.
Especially when tracking flights from family members or grouping different flights to one destination (I.e. Thanksgiving) is made so interesting and great, so you never loose track when to pick somebody up or where to wait, gate wise.
As an app developer it is becoming extremely hard to stay on top of all the new stuff Apple is putting out right before the holidays.
So please understand that not every app is immediately resized for the bigger devices. More important is a great design and a function app which this one definitely is.
So worth the money!
Some bad moments
Ive used FlightTrack Pro for years, so in good faith purchased this new version. No iCloud integration. No TripIt integration. Calendar integration is flakey. You have to create an Expedia account (just what I wanted - yet another account that wants access to all my contacts!) and now send all your trip info there instead of TripIt in order for it to appear on all devices. Fortunately FlightTrack Pro was still available to me and I have restored it. Now I am only out the amount I paid for the app, and no longer wasting my time. Ill certainly think twice before paying for another Mobiata app. 0 stars if I could!
The app has nice features, widget, push notifications (pretty much on time), seat map, etc. Unfortunately it lacks a lot...for instance, if youre on flight (or offline for any reason) the widget bar doesnt update with the scheduled data (you see how many minutes to the landing but the graphical bar doesnt change, making it quite useless). Its nice to send confirmation emails of the flights and have them automatically registered, but its crazy that in this case you cant do any edit (no way to put your seat number, remove one of the flights booked, etc.). Theyre also automatically removed when completed without any option to keep them in the app. If you register your flights manually on the other side, theres no a function like "archive" or so and the list of tracked flights become a mess. Also, if you sync with your calendars any change is not tracked. I was happy with this app initially, as I was hoping in such updates and other fixes...unfortunately almost no updates happened in almost 1 year...
Searching for certain flights on certain dates cause the app to get stuck and crash! This happens very often and so frustrating. Just for some absolutely random dates it crashes. Also, the app has duplicate flights on calendars for flights that were searched. Old app is much better. This app could be really much better if they took into account some small aspects that are important to the user!
Just received totally incorrect information stating a flight with our family had been diverted-very alarming & totally incorrect!
This app is a complete waist of money, it cant even keep track of any delays, completely unreliable, I like my money back!
Just a waste of an update. Some other company has a huge opportunity to win this entire market. Just update the decent product you originally had!!!! What happened to Mobiata.
